4. New archaeological findings, cultural histories and legends support and confirm The Book of Mormon text.

Demonstrated in this book is the undeniable fact that no human being could have produced The Book of Mormon without the help and direction of God. Its history, doctrine, wisdom, and agreement with discoveries made 170 years later demonstrate that The Book of Mormon is a miracle in print.

I have enjoyed your update of "The Book of Mormon: Another Witness of Jesus Christ on Trial". While I presided over the Illinois, Peoria Mission, we obtained a number of copies of your earlier edition. We made it available to our missionaries for purchase or for loaning. While I don't have a particular success story relative to its use, I do know of instances where the missionaries used it with contacts who wanted some external evidence that the Book of Mormon was creditable. I received reports back that your book was influential with some of these contacts choosing to read the Book of Mormon. There was so much negative material against the Book of Mormon available through local ministers, that your book did provide our young missionaries with some external evidence, when needed.

I know you have invested much time and money into this project, and I want to express my personal appreciation for this source of material and for the way in which it is presented. It does not appear to be an overwhelming book to review because of the format in which it is presented.

More than three decades ago I purchased the first edition of this book. I quickly learned that it was a powerful missionary as well as a reactivation tool. This updated issue promises to be an even more effective tool. Considerable time and effort has gone into updating and revising it. It is easy and quick to read, making it readily accessible to those who are not in the habit of reading. Most importantly it bears a strong witness that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is true. I believe it will be instrumental in bringing many back to the fold as well as many to Christ. I heartily recommend this book to those that want to get more involved in the work of bringing souls to Christ.

The Book of Mormon on Trial was my introduction to the Book of Mormon and the Mormon faith. This book is written so children as well as adults can read and understand it. Using the cartoon characters takes a very serious subject and very respectfully makes it fun and lighthearted to read. The children's attention span will be longer as they study and enjoy learning about Jesus Christ and His will for their lives in these latter-days.
